Runway 25 has been extended by 715 feet; Runway 7 extended by 285 feet, taking the runway almost to its final length of 5,000 feet. The Southside taxiway has been extended to full length. This project was completed in November 2003.
This project also included the extension of "O" street to the Airport and construction of an access road with all utilities installed, to the 13 acre parcel the Airport has available on the Southside.
