HAGERMAN - REGIONAL GAMES
On October 9, 2010 the annual Hagerman - Regional Games will occur at Santa Maria's Hagerman Park. Athletes from different counties will compete in this event. The event will feature an Opening Ceremonies, Softball, Lunch, an Olympic Village with games, souvenir shop and Closing Ceremonies.

Special Olympics is the world's largest program of sports training and
athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities: it
currently serves more than 2.25 million persons with intellectual disabilities
in more than 200 programs in more than 150 countries.
Northern Santa Barbara County Special Olympics offers training and
competition in 10 different Olympic-type sports year-round specifically for
athletes 8 years and older with intellectual disabilities. There is no charge
to participate in Special Olympics.
Athletes attend weekly practices, compete at local and regional
competitions, and participate in various special events throughout the year.
It's easy to register as a Special Olympics Athlete. Athletes who wish to
participate in Special Olympics must have a current Special Olympics
Application for Participation & Release Form on file. To request an
